F. Reid Shippen was born in Milwaukee, grew up in New Jersey, and now calls Nashville home. He is a multiple Grammy-award winning mixer, producer and engineer, as well as an entrepreneur with interests including real estate, music publishing, and manufacturing. His engineering and production credits include a wide range of artists such as Ingrid Michaelson, India.Arie, Sam Hunt, Cage the Elephant, Kenny Chesney, Colony House, One Republic and Dierks Bentley. He has served as co-chair of the Producers & Engineers wing of NARAS, can be seen on a variety of podcasts, and really hates bios.
Pete Lyman a mastering engineer and owner of Infrasonic Sound, an audio and vinyl mastering studio with facilities in Los Angeles, CA and Nashville, TN. He has mastered projects for Rival Sons, Fall Out Boy, Weezer, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Panic! At the Disco, Halsey, and Banks Recent projects included Jason Isbell's Something More than Free, which garnered two 2016 Grammy Awards, and Chris Stapleton's Traveller, which earned a 2016 GRAMMY for Country Album of the Year.
Dave Gardner is a mastering engineer based out of Infrasonic Sound’s Echo Park studio in Los Angeles, CA. Gardner is known for being the founder of Magneto Mastering in Minneapolis, and joined Infrasonic Sound in 2016. He has mastered projects for The Hold Steady, Weezer, Black Lips, Rocket from the Crypt, Hot Snakes, Trampled by Turtles and Drive Like Jehu. Additionally, Gardner is an Audio Consultant for Noiseland Industries, coordinating the audio components of the company’s vinyl manufacturing process.
Matt McVaney is a writer/producer based out of Nashville, TN. He is currently signed to Song House, a publishing venture owned by producer/engineer/mixer, F. Reid Shippen. McV has worked with a number of pop and country artists, including Jessie James Decker, Chase Rice, Kane Brown, Cali Rodi, Lauren Alaina, Seth Alley, Jimmie Allen, and Sammy Arriaga. He is most well-known for co-writing Kane Brown’s viral hit “ Used To Love You Sober” (#1 iTunes Country).
Haircuts for Humans is a non-profit event hosted by Republican Hair, Scout's Barbershop, and Lightning 100, to help raise funds to support education programs in East Nashville and South Nashville. All proceeds benefit the Martha O’Bryan Center and their mission to support East Nashville educational opportunities to empower children, youth, and adults in poverty.
